Katherine led the project team in a $1.6M Edmonton's highest profile art plan that placed opportunities for local, regional, national & international artists respectively, in publicly accessible locations in & around Roger's Place. In a cooperative model developed with the City of Edmonton, Indigenous community stakeholders & curator Candice Hopkins, Katherine headed the unique art plan & inclusion process for Edmonton's first Indigenous art park, hosting works by six Indigenous artists across Canada. Valley Line LRT Plan

Katherine led the project team in developing Edmonton's most extensive plan to date for $3.1 M of public art at stops, stations & four key locations along the new LRT line from Downtown (Centre West) to Millwoods, including two significant Indigenous artist opportunities.  (Public Art Director, EAC)  Photos:  Map - City of Edmonton website; artwork examples:Churchill Connector (Max Striecher), Tawatinâw Bridge (David Garneau), and Davis Station (Shan Shan Sheng). Artist commissions are now publicly announced.

SANTIAGO AIRPORT CHILI art plan + interior palette 1998.   Based on the extreme polarities of Chile's climate & geography, Katherine designed a creative art plan with 7 distinct way-finding zones for the Santiago International Airport, Chile as well as its interior palette. (with Architectura, Vancouver [Stantec])    Model & Photo: Stantec.
